PICKERING CANADA DAY ACTIVITIES AND CELEBRATIONS 2013

Canada Day 2013 activities and celebrations  in Pickering start on Sunday June 30 in Kinsman Park in Pickering. Many free and fun activities and celebrations for young and old in Pickering. Live entertainment, bouncers, and much more. Live music with great bands on the main stage. Stay till the end and watch the amazing fireworks show.

Pickering is offering free transportation!! From OPG, 777 and 889 Brock Road South from noon (12pm) till fireworks!! 

AJAX CANADA DAY ACTIVITIES AND CELEBRATIONS 2013

Ajax Canada Day celebrations 2013 in Rotary Park. Click here for the detailed calendar to find family activities including pony rides, face painting and arts and crafts. WHITBY CANADA DAY ACTIVITIES AND CELEBRATIONS 2013

Canada Day 2013 celebrations in Whitby at Victoria Fields, 345 Watson Road. There are free children's activities, live entertainment, petting zoo and jumping castles. Parking is available at Iroquois Park Sports Centre and Whitby Go Station. Stay up late on Monday because Canada Day will end of course .... with fireworks at dark. 

OSHAWA CANADA DAY ACTIVITIES AND CELEBRATIONS 2013

Canada Day 2013 activities and celebrations in Oshawa are taking place at Lakeview Park. Enjoy an amazing Canada Day Celebration! 

Many bands and activities are planned for Monday. A designated family zone for families with young kids, creative beach activities, and entertainment on the family stage. History of the Village of Brooklin

The Real Estate area around the Village of Brooklin began to be settled in the 1820s. The community itself grew after 1840.

Prominent people from the Village of Brooklin included  Minister of Agriculture John Dryden (1840–1909), who created the northwestern Ontario experimental farm that eventually led to the formation of the town of Dryden. Real Estate homes in the Village of Brooklin, Whitby activity resumed in the mid-1990s east of the village between Queen St. and Thickson Rd. with the Village of Brooklin subdivision, and continued into the late-1990s with further developments to the southeast. Real Estate Brooklin developments reached Ashburn Road to the west in 2000, the development featuring a decorative water control pond, and the Olde Winchester subdivision was begun east of Thickson in 2001.

It is expected that the population of the village of Brooklin will grow to 25,000 residents by 2015.
